Jacksonville State Signs Wallace Stand-out
Courtney Underwood will finish her last two years of collegiate softball play wearing the black and red of Jacksonville State University. The Gamecocks signed Underwood during spring signing period. Underwood will major in education while trying to help the Gamecocks win the Ohio Valley Conference championship next season. She joins another Wallace stand-out, Rachel Fleming who went to Jacksonville last season.
Shorter College signs Lindsey McDaniel
Shorter college in Rome Georgia has signed third baseman Lindsey McDaniel to a softball scholarship. Lindsey finshed her career at Wallace with a .348 batting average and a .946 fielding percentage. Lindsey was a team leader that will lead Shorter back to the NAIA Nationals in Decatur Alabama next season. She was also an Academic All-American with a 3.65 GPA and on the Dean's list both years at Wallace State.
